I am running into a problem where I cannot delete inputs mapped to buttons on my controller. It is affecting my gameplay majorly and I need help. I know you can delete inputs and hotkeys on the keyboard with backspace, but this doesn't seem to be the case with controller.

i had this happen to me too , i only thought it was an issue on my end , but what i did was set the values of the keybindings i wanted to reset to -1 in the .ini file created when you launch melonds for the first time , then save the file and and melonds , then the inputs should be reset

is .ini on Mac or no?

i wouldnt know as i dont have a mac , was any text file at all created in the same place as melonds ¿ for example , i first launched melonds on my desktop so the file was created there . there should be at least some text file where all the settings you set are stored , at least id imagine

Actually, all you have to do to delete an input is clicking on it and press backspace even with the controller inputs. Make sure you're using the latest version.

Yep, pressing back works for me on Fedora KDE.
