also, no idea how GLES maps to desktop GL. melonDS runs on GL 3.2, so it could be ported to GLES, I guess.

don't try to compile betterer_wifi anyway, it's a trainwreck. it was a quick attempt but it performs even worse than the regular wifi.

Just saying because there have been several occurences of people contacting me via private messages to help them with something. While it's a good way to get my attention, I can't answer all the questions, I'm no magical encyclopedia.

So it's better if you ask publicly in the forums. This lets more people from the community help you, and they may come up with better answers than I can.

That being said, if your questions aren't getting answers, it's okay to bring them up to me, or anybody else in the melonDS team, via PM or IRC.

wait, what's 'wx-config-static' doing in there?

you might have been following pretty outdated build instructions, we haven't been using wxWidgets in ages

(if so, I'd like to know where you found these instructions, so I can fix that)

you can (and should) use CMake

only firmware files really differ. all DS's have the same BIOS.
