Hello everyone,,

as I wanted to get some of my Pokemon from my old DS to the PC I was delighted to see, that there finally was a new emulator with Wifi connection, but sadly im unable to connect.
A few infos about the system:

Using MelonDs 0.83
Connected via Lan
Installed Ncap on windows 8.1 - installer ran via windows 7 compability mode
--> not sure if this might be the problem, tough wincap didnt work either

The weird thing happening is, that as I tried it with the wifi thing version of Desmemu, it first connected (as you could see in the console) then disconnected and I got the error about the IP. Now it seems similiar in MelonDS, as I at firts have the Wifi symbol in green but after a while it turns red and i get the error.

I really dont know what it could be and I'd be very happy about getting some help.

disable the framerate limiter/audio sync/v-sync

I know that windows 8.1 or 8 could use winpcap instead and it will still work lol.
But also ethernet is required for this to work for now until non direct mode will be improved.
