If I play Zelda: Spirit Tracks with the software renderer, then it looks incredibly poor. If I run it with OpenGL, then shadows flicker for non-player characters. Has anyone else encountered this and/or found a fix?
Thank you very much |

the OpenGL renderer can't have as much Z-buffer precision as is required (the DS uses a 24-bit integer depth buffer).
only the software renderer can, but of course, that renderer is designed to mimic the hardware as closely as possible, so it can't upscale graphics. ____________________ Kuribo64 |

Oh, that's a shame. Thank you for your response though, I might just suck it up and either face the shadow glitches or use the software renderer.
Have a nice evening |
