If I play Zelda: Spirit Tracks with the software renderer, then it looks incredibly poor. If I run it with OpenGL, then shadows flicker for non-player characters. Has anyone else encountered this and/or found a fix?

the OpenGL renderer can't have as much Z-buffer precision as is required (the DS uses a 24-bit integer depth buffer).

only the software renderer can, but of course, that renderer is designed to mimic the hardware as closely as possible, so it can't upscale graphics.

Oh, that's a shame. Thank you for your response though, I might just suck it up and either face the shadow glitches or use the software renderer.
