Hey there, Amy Scarlet here~

also known as Luigi442wii on Kuribo64. Though I probably won't be active here as I don't really understand technology in terms of hardware-related stuff I really am liking melonDS so far, it's a very promising and progressing emulator project. ;)

Surprised nobody has responded to this yet - I guess I will say hi too, although I don't know you very well. Though, neither do you. ;3

I can change your name there so you have the same one everywhere, but please decide on a name and don't change constantly.

Thanks, but I'd rather give it a few weeks or so because as you know I seem to change it a lot, just so that I'm sure I want to stick with the name. However it is the name I'll probably use in real life so it shouldn't matter, lol.

"wrt"? That has got to be one of the best typos I've seen. :3

But yea, it wouldn't hurt to get a bit of community going here :)

Nice the next step is to interact with real devices.

I'm not sure if that would be possible.

However, nice work! I haven't checked the main site yet but is the compatibility list regularly updated atm? I don't have a real DS to check for game defects but... yeah. I'd like to try it out some time.

Also, would MelonDS be possible to compile on MacOS, or at least run in WINE? Seeing as MacOS is a fully POSIX-compatibile operating system and there is a Linux build I doubt it would be impossible :3

You should put them in order of emulation accuracy or update frequency and maybe list some information on their background. Not saying you have to of course though :)

Accuracy isn't something you can measure as a general number. For example, melonDS may have the most accurate 3D renderer, but its timings are still pretty gross (and DeSmuME can be better in that regard).

Heh, okay. I'm not an expert on the backend of emulation - not being naturally skilled with computing - but thanks for answering. ^^
