melonDS 0.9.2 is out!
This release brings some welcome changes.

Namely, improved Mac support: there have been fixes to the JIT, but also to the interface, so things should work more smoothly under macOS.

melonDS also supports loading ROMs from the most common archive formats, now, which means users with large ROM sets should have it easier.

We also have a new menu listing the ROMs you have opened recently, making it quicker to open them again.

We got new fancy screen modes courtesy Generic. These make it possible to use 16:9 hacks along with melonDS, among other fun things. Speaking of renderers, he also went and fixed a whole bunch of OpenGL issues.

The cart interface refactor was finished in time for this release, and with it, support for NAND save memory. WarioWare DIY and Jam with the Band are now able to save correctly under melonDS.

And, as usual, there are a bunch of other misc changes, which you can find about in the changelog or commit history.

Congrats! Can't wait for the 1.0 release! Will the team work next on manually syncing melonDS instances for better multiplayer? And maybe interacting with Dolphin?

I just want to add that many of the quality of life improvements in this version such as asynchronous saving, the recently opened roms list or the hybrid screen mode came from different contributors outside the regular suspects, so many thanks to them!

I wanted to report a bug, when I access the video settings and enable OpenGL, the OpenGL renderer option is not activated. I'm running the emulator on Linux Mint 20.1!

Is there way to conect Wifi in melonDS for iOS?

the iOS port isn't made by us, it's probably smarter to ask the author of it, though I think it doesn't support wifi.

I just tested the latest build available on github, and I can safely say that it runs faster than version 0.9.1
The only game that doesn't run at full speed on my slow laptop is Pokemon White (but runs just fine on my decent one)

That's kinda weird because I don't think there was much in the way of speed optimizations in this update.

I certainly don't know why, but it runs faster, for sure. In Pokemon Heart Gold I got 55/60 fps in certain areas of the game with version 0.9.1, but on the latest build it always run 60/60 fps.
