Not sure if the 0.9 released had fixed this bug or not, but just wanted to bring it to attention that this still does occur. I had the game running for about, 30 minutes with C-Gear open. The game is Pokemon Black 2, with no cheats or anything used. I also noticed before this, when i went into the GTS just to try something, it said that no access point was found. I was maybe about 1-2 minutes into opening the game as well.

Great to hear! This is probably the best emulator I have used cause of the simple wifi connectivity, with most games running perfectly fine. I'm using my school laptop with only a i5-8250u and UHD 620, and I can run most games at about 5x internal with no lag at all. This makes me happy that these bugs are getting fixed. |

I would have to say personally Pokemon Black 2, it just had such a great storyline and core gameplay imo, plus it was my first Pokemon game that I had ever beaten. |

Did you enable "Bind socket to any address" and "randomize MAC address?" Did you also disable the frame limiter, helps out a lot with wireless communications.

Try using the version 0.9 of MelonDS and use indirect mode, just make sure you have the right adapter setup under the online section. Indirect mode seems to work much better. |

Dude, Black 2 is amazing, and so are the Gen 4 games. Gen 6 fell off, Gen 7 was not too bad, haven't played Gen 8, and I don't really want to. Everything about Gen 5 is good, just F trubbish, all my homies hate trubbish. |

Yeah, that's a thing. It's under config, under "Screen layout" and "Screen sizing" |

Make sure Audio Sync is off as well and vsync is disabled as well. |

Same here honestly, I haven't seen much of Gen 8 or played much, but the experience from it used to be changed so much, it's just kinda out of place compared to the previous main stream games. I didn't really like Let's Go that much either mainly because it didn't feel like a Pokémon game at all, since you didn't fight wild pokemon, and the game was a cake walk almost. |

Yes, but there's a lot of problems with Wireless Communication since it's extremely hard to get working. You would have to disable the frame limiter and audio sync so the fps is uncapped, but even at that point it can still crash and not work. However, while testing something on "Skate It," I actually got WiFi to work on 2 different processes of the emulator and connect and work together. I'll explain it in the simplest terms here real quick, 1. have wifi enabled and setup and saved already to work with wiimmfi and what not. 2. on one of the two processes, get one connected to the servers already and waiting. 3. on the other one, reset the nintendo wfc config and then re-create it with the wiimmfi dns. 4. connect with the 2nd one and it could possibly work. I believe this works because it resets the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection ID. This only worked one time for me however, but I only tried it like one more time afterwards. If you want anymore help, just respond here again. Hopefully this works for you!
Also, randomizing the MAC Address usually works. For me personally, it didn't always let me connect with 2 different, but try the randomizing MAC address first, that should work. |

You need to get npcap so it becomes a loopback adapter. Once that happens, you just have to select your network adapter and set it up for the specific DNS server you would like to use, there are multiple for Pokemon and a general one, Wiimmfi. It doesn't require anything extra other than npcap.
i just realized you apparently don't need npcap anymore so work normally, just have "bind socket to any address" on |
