Hey, so for reference sake I am using the Flatpak version of melonDS 0.9.5 on Linux.

When I create a new window with: System > Multiplayer > Launch new instance ...

Only the window with the cursor on it is active, and the other one is inactive, this causes a problem with the DS communications.

For example, when I did Memory Link on Pokemon B2 from Pokemon White, in order to get the transfer successful, I had to actually quickly move the cursor back and forth between the two separate windows constantly until it was done, otherwise it would show a communication error.

Anyway, is there a way to make the melonDS window run in the background? Maybe I missed a config option for this, but if it is, it's not very obvious.

Ah yes, thanks. Somehow I missed that.

Hey guys, using MelonDS 0.9.5 for reference,

So I don't know if the Union Room works between two computers, but... forget about that, I'll focus on one machine for now.

When I spawn a second MelonDS multiplayer window and try to connect them, it says "(My Name) PLAYER I've entered the Union Room." on both screens, but there is no player sprite walking around. In other words, it's "half-working". One window is running Pokemon Black 2, and the other window is running Pokemon White.

I made sure to try and toggle around Limit Framerate/Audio Sync settings on and off, and nothing seems to work.

Second dilemma is between two machines.

I also wanted to try to get this working over the Wi-Fi Club room using Wi-Fi, and the same problem happens where I only see a player entering the room, and an NPC spawns in to the right side of the large monitor thing, and then whenever I try to trade, or battle or whatever it just hangs and fails to connect. I made sure to set up the Wi-Fi DNS and stuff correctly when I followed the tutorial. As a side note, I can't run npcap/libpcap because these are running in a Flatpak container on Linux, and it is completely disabled for Flatpak. Instead, I have to use Indirect Mode with libslirp.

Any ideas?
