Booting cartridges from DSi menu has always been buggy, though it is weird that it doesn't work on 1.0 any more. Note that DSi menu has more checks: it requires language to match for DSi enhanced games (which Pokemon BW/BW2 are) and in any case the rom must be unmodified.
EDIT: White screen indicates emulator issue, if it was the wrong region or modified it would be just ignored. Also for just playing DS games there are only very few reasons to use DSi mode. Even if you don't have a DS to dump the bios from you can use the builtin replacement BIOS (it is set up like this by default). ____________________ Take me to your heart / never let me go! The option was bugged for a long time, not sure whether this was ever fixed. Otherwise I don't think there's much which can be done. There definitely is an option for integer scaling in what I somehow called "presentation settings" back then. Local wireless has tight latency requirements, so it doesn't work well or at all via the internet. It might be an issue with the old version of melonDS the port (and all of its forks) is based on. Unfortunately I don't think there's much which can be done. Unless the Linux distribution you are using is really old, the only thing missing could be that the file needs to be marked as executable. You should be able to do this by going into the file settings or by running `chmod +x melondsfile` ____________________ Take me to your heart / never let me go!
