I'm having trouble booting DSiWare off the NAND. I already know that it needs to be installed to the NAND for melonDS to run it, but these are installed to the NAND. In fact they were installed to the DSi that the NAND and BIOS files were dumped from. Doesn't matter which one I try, it fails to boot the DSiWare.
I tried it with Flipnote studio and this is what happened. ->
I tried again with the system settings and the same thing happened. ->
If anyone could help, it would be appreciated. My DSi is currently out of commission due to a damaged top screen and I'd like to log in to Sudomemo using Flipnote Studio instead of using the website. |

So I just went ahead and downloaded the bios files off the internet and it worked. It's weird though, I had used the dsi bios dumper tool that was linked to in the faq page.
I'll go ahead and post the md5 hashes for the files. I'm not sure if the files are console specific, though I highly doubt it as I have also dumped a damaged motherboard's bios files and the md5 hashes were the same as the ones from the working motherboard. bios9i (Mine): 774eda3a300f56c40b02ef35befa583b bios9i (Internet): 87b665fce118f76251271c3732532777 bios7i (Mine): 2e17b63fc7ad43763f11226c96240ef1 bios7i (Internet): 559dae4ea78eb9d67702c56c1d791e81 Edit: Now I have a different problem. As mentioned before I'm trying to start up Sudomemo, which replaces the discontinued Flipnote Hatena, yet despite changing the DNS settings in system settings to point to the Sudomemo DNS server to get it to work, it fails to gather the data. I even tried setting the DNS server of my own computer to it and it still did not work. |

Why is it that either it starts working or I figure out how to get it to work AFTER I make a post about it not working.
Edit: I had booted it up from TwilightMenu++. I had not realized that you had made another post and thought mine had not submitted. Edit 2: And of course it stops working. Plus the melonAP keeps resetting the DNS that I set. There is a reason why I put that in there. |
