Hey guys, I'm playing Pokemon Heartgold on melonDS version 0.9.4 and I'm trying to trade between two instances on one PC, but I just can't see the second person in the union room. I've read hundreds of threads and have all the setting needed. Bind socket is activated, randomize MAC adress is activated, limit framerate and audio sync deactivated, I copied the rom and save files and renamed them, I even tried to trade between heartgold and soulsilver. But nothing works... Please help me I've already wasted so many hours trying to get it running

I checked the private network checkbox, and unchecked the public network, public network being not recommended by the windows 7 firewall query that pops up at the point when you get to the main menu in the pokemon game where you can either start a new game, load/enter your save file, edit wi-fi setting etc., and it works.

Thank you! That was my problem... my internet was set to public network and not to private. Now everything works
