Posted on 03-29-22 11:25 AM, in Opengl not working properly on laptop when not plugged in Link | #5126
In my laptop running Opengl in any resolution outside of being plugged in a power source results in parts of the screen becoming black for a brief moment which progressively results in the whole screen becoming black. The gpu I use is the Nvidia GeForce 3050 Ti Laptop GPU so age isn't a problem and Opengl in Desmume works fine regardless of being plugged in or not. Any explanation for why this happens? The game I'm using is Pokemon Volt White 2 Redux and the version of MelonDS I use is 0.9.4.

I've seen this option for under the Insert add-on cart in the Files menu but I have no idea what it does. Can there be an option where you hover over an option it would display its function?

Actually I've been facing the same problem when switching between softran and opengl. The entire screen just freezes up. I'm using Volt White 2 Redux.

I was wondering whether or not this feature would be added since it would be fun and interesting how they'll do that
