At this point I'm sure it's a Router/ISP problem. Since last time we tried, the only method that worked was me hosting using Direct Connection. Check if melonDS is allowed to in the firewall settings. |

It's not a virus for sure, it's open-source so, if there was any malicious code, people would be quick to spot it. And not requiring much storage is actually a good sign lol |

Wrong. You don't have to patch the ROM for that. You only have to patch the ROM if you want to connect the game to an alternate WFC server that does not use nds-constraint. |

Try disabling the C-Gear BEFORE actually starting the game.

Tested right now and I could only replicate this problem once with the C-Gear turned on, I recommend always leaving it off until the problem is solved. |

must be a bug, I recomend simply placing the exported .sav file in the same folder as the ROM and give the same name to both.
Example: example.nds and example.sav |

Actually, I think I know what's happening now. Probably they are in a restricted location, move your ROM and SAV to a non-restricted location, like the desktop or HDD/SSD root and then try again. |

You can also try Kaeru's DNS 178.62.43.212, it's a mirror to Wimmfi's servers. |

Yeah, Wireshark could be used to check which ports are being blocked or if the ISP itself is doing so as previously stated. You could also try using the direct connection method, which solves these problems in some cases, you'll need to install npcap and run melonDS in administrator mode to do this tho. Error 91010 also may mean that you are using a firmware backup that was banned from the server tho, try deleting the WFC config as described in the Extra Step by the end of the tutorial and after that try following all the steps from start. |

Check if you saved in game, save states are not the same as in-game saves. Load the game and save through the in-game menu, also, which mobile emulator are you using? |

MelonDS is probably in a restricted directory. Try moving it to a non-restricted directory like the desktop and or sytem's root. |

First error means you couldn't reach the DNS, that either means you have a old WFC config stored and you need to clear it OR your ISP is blocking it. The second error is a LAN/DNS error. Resetting the router or using melonDS on direct mode may help, I also recommend you to delete the WFC ID as described in the Extra Step here, after that you'll need to setup all of the configuration again. I recommend trying Kaeru's DNS (178.62.43.212 ) since it connect to Wimmfi which has less bugs. |

It can help, but first make sure both primary and secondary DNS settings are the same. If it doesn't help, installing npcap and try to run melonDS in admnistrator privileges and using direct mode might help. |
