Not a bug in the UI, but in the emulator itself. I you check the polygon splitting on in the OpenGL it'll work normally. However, next time the emulator starts, it will forget to apply the effect. |

Just want to make a suggestion to the ROM Info menu addition in the newest MelonDS revision.
It would be nice to add the ROM hashes (like the CRC32, MD5, SHA-1, etc.) there. |

If you are getting a white screen, it may be your bios file fault. Some DS bios (like the DSi and 3DS) are unable to boot since they only have the bare minimum to run. Or in some cases, are just flat bad dumps. If you're using a bios file dumped from DSi, you can try running the DSi bios instead. For that, go to Config > Emu settings > Console type.

Posted by Prusue That error means that something in your network (your router or even your ISP) is making the connection fail, restart your router and try again. Your ISP may be blocking DNS responses too, in that case a domain patch may solve the issue. As stated by Vulpliks, open the command prompt (CMD) window and type the following: nslookup nas.nintendowifi.net 95.217.77.151 If you're able to access the server, you will see this: Server: static.151.77.217.95.clients.your-server.de Address: 95.217.77.151 Name: nas.nintendowifi.net Address: 95.217.77.151 |

Which of the following servers have you tried?
AltWFC: 172.104.88.237 Wimmfi: 95.217.77.151 Kaeru: 178.62.43.212 |

Kaeru also connects with Wimmfi, so that's why they received the same error which could be caused by server instability. I would recommend restarting the router and trying again.
about Altwfc tho, it's either your ISP blocking the request or if you tried Wimmfi/Kaeru first, it is a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection ID conflict (since they're different servers). Always reset the Nintendo Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection ID during the test on different servers. Follow the Extra Step on the tutorial for more info about that. |

Actually, all you have to do to delete an input is clicking on it and press backspace even with the controller inputs. Make sure you're using the latest version. |

There are 3 bios files that you should add in melonDS for it to work: Bios9.bin(ARM9), Bios7bin(ARM7) and firmware.bin, make sure they're properly named before booting up like this picture:

It's possible to legally obtain berries on Pokemon BW2 if you upgrade the flower shop in the Join Avenue or getting EV reducing berries on Route 5 daily. But if you want to use cheats anyway, you go to System > Enable cheats and the you got to System > Setup cheat codes. Make sure your melonDS is on the latest version. |

Sorry but we can't help with the files. Make sure you place the files correctly like this picture:
and also, make sure to select the DSi mode on this menu: |

What's the model of the DS that you dumped the bios from?

It's a bad dump for sure. I would recommend trying to dump your firmware again. |

that's actually probs a bad modified bios dump that circled around the net trying to solve desmume's WFC problem, I would recommend getting a new one. |

Posted by joossof You could try using either Hamachi or Radmin, but the DS local communication is highly sensitive to high response times, therefore any ping above 5 to 10ms or so would be too high and the connection will fail. What I recommend you to do is playing 2 windows in the same PC and using Parsec to play with your friend. |

In the picture it seems you have limit framerate disabled, this helps local multiplayer but not online (WFC) multiplayer. I would suggest both you and your friend to enable it and try again. |

If you mean melonDS local multiplayer:
1st - Open 2 windows. 2nd - Go to config > wifi settings on the first window and enable Bind socket to any address. 3rd - on the every other window, enable mac randomisation and enable Bind socket to any address too. Now local multiplayer should work, keep in mind that some games still not work. 4th - keep in mind that this process will need to be repeated every time you close all of melonDS instances, it will always save the configuration of the last window closed. Make sure you're using melonDS latest version. If it doesn't work try also disabling frame limiter/audio sync. |

There are 2 methods that of multiplayer that are possible in the same PC, one using the Local Multyplayer and one using the WFC. Keep in mind that some games only work in one method or do not work at all. Both need melonDS on the latest version.
Local Multiplayer Method (using local wireless communications): 1st - Open 2 instances of MelonDS. 2nd - On the 2nd instance, go to config > input and hotkeys and map the settings for the 2nd player. And now you are all set! WFC (Online) Method: To use this method, you need to know how to connect to the WFC. If you do not know it yet, there's a tutorial detailing it here 1st - Download npcap here and install it. 2nd - Go to config > wifi settings and check the "direct mode" box, then select the adapter you use to connect through the internet in direct mode settings. After that, close the emulator. 3rd - Now open it again in admin mode. Then go to system > multiplayer > launch a new instance. 4th - Now, on the 2nd instance, go to config > firmware settings, and check the "override settings from external firmware" box. Also set a MAC address. 5th - On the second instance, go config > input and hotkeys and set the controls for player 2. Now you should be good to go! |

Yes, it does not need an Ethernet cable. |

There are 2 methods of playing online, the WFC method and the Parsec method.
Here's the link to the WFC method: https://melonds.kuribo64.net/board/thread.php?id=285 While the local method online can only be "achieved" with Parsec, here's the link to the local method: https://melonds.kuribo64.net/board/thread.php?id=871 |
