Hellooo, i tried using Cheat Codes in MelonDS for Dragon Quest IX, used the "Enable Cheats" and set them up but somehow they do not work.

I use the Europe Version and pressing buttons like L+R or Select wont do anything.

Am I doing something wrong?

you might be using cheat codes for the wrong ROM revision

oh also, when you enable cheats in the menu, you may need to reset your game for them to properly apply

Okay so basically I'm from Germany, currently playing the Europe Version but everything I've checked was in the english language.

I'll try the American Version, hopefully it will work.

the site you got your cheats from should list the ROM region, and revision if it applies

or, yet better, if you can grab usrcheat.dat, you can import from that and it will automatically pick the right cheat set
