Hey everyone, I've been using melonDS for about a year, just created an account.
This question seems obvious and it has likely been answered already:

Is there any way to avoid/redirect the melonDS files (ex:rtc.bin) from appearing (or copying) on the desktop when melonDS is used?

For context, I'm running melonDS on a Windows 11 computer with adequate specs.
I have my melonDS software in my OS downloads, but my ROM files are saved to a USB stick drive I carry with me.

It feels like sometimes my hotkeys and such will save, but othertimes I load a game and all my settings are reset.

I'd love any help with this. Thanks!

You could create a folder to put melonDS in. Maybe add a shortcut to melonDS.exe on the desktop.
