When I try changing from Software to OpenGL (Classic or Computer shader), the screen goes completely black. The sound works perfect and the ROM loads without a problem but the issue is that I can't see anything, however when I turn back Software the screen goes back to normal. It doesn't crash, stutter or do anything weird apart from being pitch black. Also this only happens with MelonDS as I haven't had a problem with Citra or Dolphin previously.
Is there anything I can do about it? |

That really doesn't sound like a problematic combination.
The only things I can suggest is updating your graphics driver and disabling any software which might interfere with graphics like all sorts of game overlays or Reshade. ____________________ Take me to your heart / never let me go! I already have the latest drivers and I don't use overlays or ReShade but I'll see if I can do anything, thanks anyway. |

Nothing works, even uninstalling the drivers with DDU so I guess I'll stay with Software. |

Hello, i am back. I fixed it. I went into settings-games-graphics-at the bottom click add classic programm and find your melonDS and then changed it from my Adm graphics to my video card. Its important to mention that. All this time i was using adm graphics while downloading the newest drivers for my video card. And another thing, i somehow had 2 melonDSs so I changed one melonDS's graphics but was working with the other one. Hope this helps(somehow) |
