Hi,
I have a macbook air but from 2015, and was surprised when i tried the latest versions of this emulator because it says a newer version os is required. Ofc i can use previous releases but they didn't have multiplayer (i don't even find the option to open another instance). The thing is i tried downloading the latest version (1.0 RC on github) and exctract it till i have the .app. Then right click and show contents and then inside folder MacOs, open melonDs and it actually worked and i could use the multiplayer feature locally. The thing is... why are you requesting higher version os on macos now if it seems to work anyways with older versions? Could you make the distributable compatible with older MacOs versions without having to do this? The message is (translated because i don't have it in english): You have installed macOS version 12.7.6. This application requires macOS 14 or higher. Like i said doing the steps above it seems to work anyways. |

Can you try the newest development build from here? https://nightly.link/melonDS-emu/melonDS/workflows/build-macos/master
I should have foxed the mistake ther caused the app to incorrectly require the version it was built on (14). You need to download the one labeled macOS universal. |
