Problem with fast forward, at first it works fine, but over time it gets slower until finally it only goes a little faster than the default speed. When closing the emulator and reopening it it works fast again, but after a short time it becomes slow again. I'm using version 1.0RC on Pop_OS Cosmic. Do you know what it could be?

Umm, idk how. Im currently using a compiled 1.0 RC build and it definitely works on me. Maybe check the settings?

The settings are correct, nothing out of the ordinary. What I find strange is that it goes fast with fast forward at the start, but after about 10 minutes it goes to normal speed.

That sounds a lot like some energy saving measure in your computer. Possibly also thermal related. Try cleaning the heatsink and fan and applying new thermal paste.

I don't think so, the machine was reassembled a week ago, completely cleaned and new thermal paste was put on. The OS was also installed from scratch. The package is Flatpak, so it's not a dependency problem either. The only thing running is the OS and melonDS so I don't think it's a performance or heating problem (however the system monitor shows very low numbers). I always use OS's with X11, I don't know how is the performance in Wayland, although I don't think it's that because at the beginning fast forward works in a perfect way.
