Don't fall for the mistake I made.
Rename your 7i and 9i ARM files to bios7.bin and bios9.bin, respectively. It's confusing, but I figure someone will benefit from this info. ____________________ THE LEGO MAN |

Well, that's true if you are using RetroArch's MelonDS DS core.
RetroArch is really picky about how you name the bios files. https://docs.libretro.com/library/melonds/ But for standalone MelonDS, I don't think it really matters what you name the files. |

Posted by MB For melonDS DS, you can name firmware and NAND images anything you want; you can pick your favorite in the core options. Also, that doc page is for the older core (the one I went out of my way to replace). This is the doc page you want; it was added just this week, actually. |

Posted by Arisotura Pickiness about system files is actually left to the discretion of cores. RetroArch just tells cores which directory contains all the sysfiles, it's up to the core to decide what to do with the contents. It just happens that being picky is quick and easy to implement. |
