hay can melon ds run on 3ds cos i rilly want to try it so i can play phantasy star zero online in 2024 on 3ds

no, melonDS does not run on 3DS. You can use an original cartridge, a flash cartridge or nds bootstrap to play it though on your 3DS though if you can already run homebrew on it.
