If you don't know, B2W2 had a feature where you could use download play to link a second ds that had a completed copy of BW in it to "transfer" your save over for some cool bonuses. What steps would you need to take in order to do this using melonds? |

You need a NDS firmware file in order to use the Download Play feature and not boot the game directly. So, select your firmware file in Config>Emu Settings>DS firmware and also unselect the "Boot game directly" in the General tab.
So, boot Black 2 (or White 2) in the first melonds instance and in the game's main menu select "Unova Link" and then the feature you want. For example, I chose the "Memory Link". Then select "Link via Wireless Communications" and "Yes". Then launch a second melonDS instance from System>Multiplayer>Launch new instance and boot Black or White.
Then, in the DS menu, instead of selecting the game, select DS Download Play. If you have done everything correctly a download will appear.
