Hi, I'm a developer who's been working on porting the rust programming language to the DS to allow people to make homebrews for DS using the rust programming language.
(I also plan once done to work on a game engine compatible with DS in rust too)

I've been able to make it work and rust code builds for the DS. Both for ARM9 and ARM7. However, I noticed that the ARM7 code, if it contains debug symbols will crash the system (it works fine in release build)
that's why I'm posting here, because I thought that the developer of a DS emulator could probably tell me what's wrong at this level since they know very well how the DS works internally

the release build will run but the debug build will stay on a white screen on emulator. same thing on real hardware however instead of a white screen it freezes on the R4's loading screen
