just today i downloaded a bunch of roms and upon trying them, noticed something weird. i'm using a powera wired switch pro controller, and whenever i press the + button to map it to start, it maps Button 2 (the B button) to Start instead. i can press the B button independently and map Button 2 to other functions, and so have ended up playing a game, pressing B to jump, and it pausing instead, but then jumping right after i unpause.
basically, whatever i do, i cannot get the + button to map to whatever button it's supposed to and has mapped to before today - Start always ends up mapped to the B button. this issue just cropped up today, after no meddling with the controllers or melonds on my part, and i've tried my other two wired pros too - both of them produce the same results. very odd issue, i know, but does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? |
