I'm trying to record a bug using OBS and changed melonDS' priority to High in Task Manager > Details. I'm still noticing significant framerate drops, choppy audio and all. Is there something else I can do about this?

maybe your computer is too slow? Try enabling the JIT recompiler.

Also try both frame limiter or audio sync and see which one is better, but not both at the same time!

the quote in your signature is pretty on topic here lol , also , ive always wondered , whats the difference between audio sync and frame limiter ¿ frame limiter is pretty self explanatory but audio sync seems to do the same thing , unless theres something more going on in the background , also why is enabling them both at the same time bad ¿ i havent run into any trouble with them both , unless again theres something going on in the background not visible

Nah, ds is not that fast even my mobile phone emu it w/o lag using drastic. my problem is when i disable frame limit, it goes to like 200 fps and when i enable it, it becomes laggy.
