shelved ¿ i dont think any releases have been shelved in the past .. no one can say whether a new release will be today , thats up to the devs . that being said you can always pick up the unstable builds from the github page which are always the most recently version , you just need to keep coming back every time a new build comes out rather than waiting for a stable release with everything in it

what do you mean by releases getting shelved?
