None of my Wi-Fi supports WEP anymore, so I use MelonDS to play Pokemon with my friends over the internet. I transfer my save to my Windows PC when I want to do that and it works perfectly. I also have a Mac laptop, and setup MelonDS to try to do the same. However, despite having re-set up the connection and DNS and such on the Mac (which seemed to work just fine), when I went to go into the WiFi room in Pokemon it gave me an error that the game's WiFi settings didn't match the systems (or something like that?) and I would have to reset my settings, including my PalPad, to resolve it. I didn't do this, and just went back to my Windows PC. Can I sync a file or something between the Mac and Windows versions of the emulator to have them match network settings so I can upload my save to whichever is more convenient at the time? Thanks!

Your first step would be to go to your emulated system and clear the network setup with this button.

Then Reconnect melonDS to the internet as usual. If it doest work after this. I can only suggest you try it using direct mode. You will an external programm for this though.
I do not remember what this program is since its been a good while since I've used it. So Hopefully one of our fellow board members can help me remember..

If neither of these options work it might just be down to your firmware and I do not know how to help with that.

Thanks! Erasing the network setup WOULD be what I want if I only wanted to use my Mac from now on -- I agree. But I'm trying to keep mobile between the two if that makes sense and don't want to re-erase every time I switch devices.

Ereasing the nintendo WFC configs should not mess with your game in any way at all. I should only remove your MAC address and internet settings. Which it will get back upon reconnecting. None of these actions should hinder you from being permanently tethered to a PC.

I however am not the brightest light of the bunch. So once again, another board member might be able to shine a brighter light on the situation for you.

Ok, I understand what you meant better now. Thanks for clarifying (though I should have just taken your word the first time :P) I'll give it a try!

Looks like your answer was what I wanted! Thanks so much for the fast help even though I wasn't receptive at first ^^' I really appreciate you!
