Title says it all, I wonder if there is a way to achive this. Me and my friend both love playing Pokemon. However, we cant battle eachother without running into the general Wiimmfi problems. (He actually cant connect at all.)

Is there a way to emulate local wireless communications over LAN? I feel like I've seen it done before.

You can use hamachi or whatever else. Won't work very well, though. WFC is far more stable.

The only game I got to work online via radmin vpn or another vpn software is Medarot DS and even then its unstable...
But at least it connects and reaches gameplay over the internet unlike all the other games i tried lol.

Both these options sound like they will make a private alternative to Wiimmfi. As stated before, my friend cant seem to connect to any alternative online server. Though I appreciate the input. I will definitely save these options for when they come in handy.

what error does your friend get on Wiimmfi?
local wireless currently is unstable even on the same network - so forget about it over the internet, it's just not possible yet.

How to write an emulator
1. throw code to be emulated somewhere
2. make memory system that allows accessing that code
3. emulate CPU
4. have fun implementing all the other hardware

We've had a variety of different codes. I dont quite remember them all. Though from what I've seen Wiimmfi seems to refuse his connection.

If you'll give me a moment I can ask him what error he gets.

I've checked with my friend. He's not quite certain but according to him the code is 51200.

That is not the case. It allows you to use local multiplayer emulation over the internet.

I see, forgive my previous comment then. I will try to connect our emulators through these a soon as I can.
