I'm having an issue where I'm playing a game and it works perfectly, but when I shut down my PC and come back the next day, MelonDS won't play the game higher than 1fps.
At first I thought the game wouldn't start outright, but if I wait a minute or two, I can hear slow methodical audio "blips", and the opening title shows. Task manager shows it's using anywhere between 0-0.3% of CPU, and 0% of GPU.

I was able to get it working again by completely reinstalling melonDS, but if there is a possible permanent fix, I would be grateful.

I use the BIOS files provided on redacted.

I've tried; -reinstalling fresh BIOS files
- enabling/disabling OpenGL
- enabling/disabling audio sync
- enabling/disabling framerate limit

Thank you for any input or solutions!

Had to figure out a buggy controller first, but it seems that fullscreen somehow does knock the emulator out of this weird bug.

Thanks Keisui!
