Hi, I’ve been playing Pokémon Platinum for a few days and recently my computer froze, so I restarted it. I thought I had just finished saving so I wasn’t too worried, since this had happened a few times before. When I loaded up the ROM again, it took me to the very beginning of the game, so I think the .sav file was totally reset. Is there any way to restore a previous version of the save file?
What I’ve tried already: - Windows version history didn’t display any previous versions to restore - I only used savestates once near the beginning of the game, so that’s unhelpful, but it does take me back to that point in the game - I stupidly tried a Windows system restore to see if that’d bring back the file. Dumb and hasty move on my part - After that I tried Recuva but no dice Is there anything else I can do or am I doomed? thanks |
