I downloaded the bios from *redacted* and give the emulator the correct files, but when i try to boot in DSI mode it says it can't find the nand even though it's literally right fucking there.
I'm using 9.2 btw, here's some images that show my dilemma: https://imgur.com/a/PYMCShE Also literally none of my settings (emu settings, input and hotkeys, video settings etc) does not want to save. Like when i restart the application after setting them up my settings won't save. I thought melonDS was supposed to generate a .ini file containing all your saved settings? ____________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFm_0wQJ2eY |

what's the full path to melonDS? maybe it's not getting permission to access the directory it's in. ____________________ Kuribo64 |

Yep, you probably put melonDS in Program Files or another UAC protected directory. (also calm down) ____________________
How to write an emulator
1. throw code to be emulated somewhere 2. make memory system that allows accessing that code 3. emulate CPU 4. have fun implementing all the other hardware -- Arisotura, Tuesday 5th January 2021, 22:00:17 |

Posted by Arisotura Yeah i just realized i placed it in Program Files, i forgot that was uac protected. It works now. But it also doesn't make sense because some emulators (eg Kega Fusion) don't have this problem. ____________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFm_0wQJ2eY |

Posted by Sonic Eclipse Their settings probably go into %appdata% or some other directory. ____________________
