Hello everyone,
So, three days ago I decided to download melonDS to experience online multiplayer for myself. Except there is an unknown problem that prevents me from loading any game... So you see, I have three Nintendo DS systems : an old 3DS XL, a new 2DS XL and a DSI XL. Using the DS rom using an R4/Twilight Menu to extract all the necessary files (bios9.bin, bios7.bin, firmware.bin) seems to work, but it seems using them on melonDS makes it fail... I checked the sizes accordingly to the FAQ, everything seems right. But loading any game just fails, it stays on a white screen, nothing happening. I tried a lot of things, I even tried using another computer with the same files but yeah, same problem. I really have no clue why it fails. Do you think it could be coming from the fact that all of my consoles are hacked (boot9strap/TWMenu++) ? Or maybe from the fact that the consoles are european ? Thank you for your help. |

the DS mode firmware from 3DS and DSi systems do not contain the firmware menu. Can you check whether you have Direct Boot enabled? If not try disabling it. ____________________ Take me to your heart / never let me go! "clearly you need to mow more lawns and buy a better pc" - Hydr8gon |

Just tried it, doesn't seem like it changes anything, enabled or disabled |

I managed to fix the problem. The issue was coming from all my boot7.bin files. I found out with HxD that the first 32 bytes of my boot7 files differ from a working boot7 file. This with all of my three consoles. Do you guys think there could be an issue with the dumper ? |
