Hi all,

I am running 0.9.2 on MAC OS 11.2.3 Big Sur, and everything runs great. The only thing I have not managed to get to work is Local Multiplayer.

On Mac OS, at least for me, I am not able to open the app twice to create two seperate windows as it would on windows, so to try it out I duplicated the app, duplicated the folder with all the files, and changed all of the locations for the firmware files so that each copy of the app has the same firmware files within different directories. I turned off audio sync and frame limiter and it said on one of the windows that there is a communication error and the ds needs to shutdown. Libpcap and libslirp are properly installed through brew within terminal. Bind socket and randomize mac address are turned on. I am running through an ethernet cable. Yet, both windows do not recognize each other after starting up a local game of multiplayer, download play or pictochat for that matter. WFC works perfectly fine.

Anyone knows perhaps something I could try to make local multiplayer work on the mac build?

I want to make the assumption here that Mac OS might be messing with the communications between the two instances. Maybe it's being stopped or bottlenecked by a protection system? They still can somewhat communicate directly as one of the consoles returned to an error. When you load both of them are they running at least at full speed?

Yes, everything works perfectly fine and runs at full speed. All other functions work perfect as well, including WFC. The only thing not working properly is the local multiplayer.
