Also, the information should be as objective as possible.

Anyway, it's nice that there aren't that many failing games on 0.1. I'm in the process of fixing shit, most of the broken games are already getting further. Bejeweled seems playable, Cars too (although the first level is boring, so I didn't play much). Scribblenauts is getting further, but it's showing the limits of my cart DMA hack, so see you when that feature is implemented properly, I guess.

As usual, anything 3D is slow, because the renderer is a pile of shit. However, I've got improvements to implement that will make it faster and more accurate.

compatability report for 0.2:
18 Classic Card Games - Perfect.
Bejeweld 3 - Promoted to Playable.
Exit DS - Playable, though I did not go far into the game.
Labyrinth - Perfect.
Style Savvy - Now goes to the menus. Could go in-game, but my hardware is pushing the limits now.
Syberia - Can boot into a save data could not be accessed screen.

Since Sound is now implemented, as expected, a lot of cracks in-game. Cutscenes that are not videos have near-perfect sound.

Metroid Prime Hunters is quite playable in melonds 0.2, close to full-speed on i5-4670K.

The only way to play it right now is to create a multiplayer multi-card game, then adding 3 bots. Lightning emitting from the weapon is wrong, but I think it's fixed by commit 7c1443b. Also, morph sphere is sinking through some parts of the ground or even turning invisible when going next to a wall. Here is a post with some pictures:

Kingdom Hearts games needs saving fixed in order to proceed.

Btw, nice job StapleButter! This will be for sure the best NDS emulator out there and a very well-known one when Wifi starts to work, thanks for bringing this. =3

Tried MelonDS 0.3. First of all, great job. I can achieve full-speed at Metroid Prime Hunters (except some instants where the camera is near fog or particle effects and FPS dips quite a bit). Same as my previous post, saving system needs some fixes before trying Kingdom Hearts games or Metroid Adventure Mode.
Thanks for this new version ;)

Edit: Forgot to tell that I didn't see any graphical glitch in Metroid, MelonDS 0.2 bugs have been fixed!

Can someone try Inazuma Eleven 2: TempĂȘte de Glace/TempĂȘte de Feu (F)? The bottom screen text font has always been messed up on DeSmuME :P

as far as I could see in desmume, enabling the TXT hack or using OpenGL fixes the text

in melonDS, no issues with the text

Just some compatibility testing coming through.

Tested on: melonDS 0.4, Core i3-6100@3.7 GHz, Nvidia GTX 750 Ti, 6 GB RAM.

Pokemon Platinum (U) - Works just fine. Usually having stable 60 FPS.
Pokemon Heart Gold (U) - Same as Platinum.
Pokemon White (U) - Hangs between 45 and 55 FPS. Some graphics are glitched.
Pokemon Black 2 (U) - Same as White.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - Blue Rescue Team (U) - Flawless. No graphical glitches or slowdowns.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - Explorers of Sky (U) - Usually 60 FPS. Sound can sometimes be skipped when entering a new area. Fails to save.
Super Mario 64 DS (U) - Another flawless.
New Super Mario Bros. (U) - Flawless.
Mario & Luigi - Bowser's Inside Story (U) - Flawless.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (all 3 games) (U) - Flawless.
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (U) - Stays usually at 60 FPS, but there are slowdowns.
Miles Edgeworth - Ace Attorney Investigations (U) - Flawless.
Chrono Trigger (U) - Flawless, but has some sound issues.

Megaman ZX
Megaman ZX Advent
Megaman Zero Collection

Works better than DesmuME.
Megaman Battle Network 5 - Double Team

MEANWHILE

Megaman Starforce 3 - Red Joker

Verdict: [image]

Okay it only crashed the first time i loaded it. Otherwise it works great.

Each game would get its own page, not every game shoved into the chart. The chart on my wiki is specifically for different instances from different users with software/hardware specs for other users to compare with, as well as for which version the instance was tested with.

I agree. It is how Dolphin and Citra keeps track of bugs, performance changes and regressions.

Even after all the recent speed-ups in the emulator , Mortal Kombat is reallyyy slow.
30 FPS in-game.
I can run many other 3D games full speed so this is weird as this is a 2D game mostly.

the game might be pegging the CPU or some other silly shit. I'll have to look into it.

From one of the links you provided it seems like a GPU problem : https://wiki.desmume.org/index.php?title=Compatibility .
Hope it could be fixed one day.

( i don't know how to upload SS, lol)

but when widening the screen the image pixel? breaks

Are there plans to make add choice screen size 1.5x?
because 1x too small and 2x is too big for my laptop screen.

The problem in melonDS is another one. It constantly reconfigures the MMU, which triggers the recalculation of a lot of stuff which normally is only done once at the start. Though when looked at the problem, I tried the game in desmume (latest from git) and it worked fine there.

If you use the software renderer you can try enabling filtering. This makes the image a bit blurry, but it usually looks better than non filtered scaling at any non integer scale.
