Hello people, I just downloaded this emulator and I am very inexperienced concerning the topic. It was pretty hard for me to figure out where to find the bios and even though I did manage to find them and put them in the files correctly, the game would run very slowly. However now I am struggling with .sav files.

I have read about .sav files on the forum but yeah... Everybody assumes most people actually know about emulators, excluding total newbies like me.

I have found an .sav file on the internet for pokemon black 2 but when I use the saveslate, the file becomes .mln and it really does not want to load the file from loading saveslate due to it being .sav and not .mln. I am pretty confused.

Anybody can tell me where to put the .sav file once obtained? How to rename it if ever needed, please?

the .sav needs to be placed alongside the ROM, and have the same name (ie: princesspork.nds -> princesspork.sav)

savestates are a different thing; .sav files are for in-game saves, while .mln files are savestates (snapshots of emulator state).

The game is pretty slow. Is it normal or is it due to the bios I input being outdated

there's no 'outdated BIOS', there's only one version of the DS BIOS

that means it's either one of the games that are slow because of how they're programmed

or your CPU isn't powerful enough

check if you have OpenGL enabled, too

That's nice! I look forward to it! Pretty disappointed that my PC is slow, but that's still alright. Planning on coming on phone soon??
