Hey there,

I was wondering why melonDS needs to access the calendar and reminders in macOS, thanks in advance to anyone who answers :)

dont worry it seems to be just some default value somewhere we havent changed, melonds never uses the permission to read any personal information.

Wait, Calendars? So that would involve the system clock, right? Does MelonDS correctly synchronise the DS time (as shown in the firmware) to the computer's clock? It does on Windows, but I wonder if that's the reason it asks for this permission on MacOS?

I don't think any permission is necessary to read the current time or date. The calendar permissions are about reading/setting appointments in the user's calendar.
