Local play first connects then after 10-15 seconds it disconnects.
Even pictochat does the same.

Mac Address randomization -On
Bind to any socket -ON
Audio sync -OFF
Limit Framerate -OFF

I have tinkered with settings to try alternative configuration.
I tried older versions.
I tried different firmwares on different emulators but local has never worked.

I am on windows 10

how well local wireless works kind of depends on how equally the task scheduler of your os runs both melonDS instances. And going by the screenshot one of the instances seems to run a lot slower, which obviously means they will desync. Unfortunately the situation is currently that bad.
