Most of the errors seem to come from people that got NAT/ISP issues.
Some people got issues with the DNS not being forwarded correctly or the ports that WFC uses are not used properly etc. |

The only current workaround is using melonDS direct mode, it works 50/50 on all cases I tried helping someone dealing with the problem. |

Guys can you help me? I try it and i get error code 23917 (the server have high traffic is is down. I tried 3 differend dns (AND the new pokemon classic communtity) and nothing!!! Nothing works!!! What can i do?

It sounds like a firmware problem. Are you using a firmware file that you just downloaded from a public repository or is it your own dump?
I suggest you to find another firmware, either dumping it yourself, or a not so "public" one. |

It seems in BW2 after a trade when the "Please take good care of {Pokemon}" text box pops up, both games crash.

I'm as well am having many issues connecting to the dns. In my case I'm getting an 52100 Error, which has something to do with my ISP injecting a dns. After changing the dns to one of the Servers' DNS, I'm still getting the same 52100 code. I've changed Ethernet DNS, ofc the one in the WFC settings and directly in my router's settings.
I'm really desperate in getting this to work. The game I'm trying to get to work is Pokemon White 2 |

when i search for an access point and i click on melonAP i show in my screen the error 20100, i don't know how to fix it. If you know how to fix can you help me pls? |

Posted by SamAlexandros yes firmware = firmware.bin by the way i am having the same issue with MKDS. According to Wiimmfi's website the error means a ban so a public firmware could be used by someone else and then got a ban. |

I am currently using a MacBook Pro, and I have been experiencing a problem with my emulation. I have followed the steps shown above, but whenever I try to connect to the server, error code 52100 keeps showing up. Is this because I am on OS X or problem with something else? |

Try using the dev version and see if the problem persists. If it does, try using direct mode. |

I"m having a problem, when trying to use this method in the android version I get "error 20100, couldn't acces to the nintendo wi-fi conection" when trying to connect, then I follow the DNS part as stated in the tutorial, then we can acces to an online room (we are trying to trade pokemon on pokemon platinum) and although we can see each other, it seems as we can't actually start the trade... someone that knows how to resolve this

Posted by TheBlueNanami This is probably happening to either the app not being allowed to pass through the firewall, an ISP block or a router block. Check if melonDS is in a restricted directory and if it's allowed through the firewall. If this does not work, try downloading npcap and using the direct mode instead. The Pokemon games are very sensitive though port restrictions, so if anyone have it, it'll not work. Also, remember that both of you have try to host, if one does not work, it doesn't mean that the other won't work as well (that's actually a method to identify who got the connection compromised).
