Sorry if this is the wrong page for this, but I was hoping to troubleshoot some LAN issues
My brother and I are trying to connect our Pokemon HGSS roms to trade in the union room. We're on different computers in the same house/using the same wifi. We've tried starting the connection before opening the roms and in the union room just in case. We got it working a few weeks ago, but now for some reason we can't connect When I host, the room doesn't appear for him, and direct connect brings up a popup saying it couldn't connect to the host. When he hosts, the room does appear, but both selecting it and using direct connect result in the same popup about failed connection I've been trying to troubleshoot by testing out random tips I find (turning off framerate limitation, running as administrator, editing data reception timeout time, checking DNS numbers in the DS's wifi settings, etc.), but nothing's worked so far. I'm not very tech savvy, so I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out what's wrong and what'd help lmao. Figured I'd try asking directly if anyone has tips? |
