Need for Speed ProStreet, USA rev 1, MelonDS 0.9.5, older versions have issues too but I haven't tested enough yet.
Normal races, both quick races and in the career, have some minor issues such as your car losing grip and leaving skid marks when it shouldn't (straight flat road), random temporary loss of steering, and general janky handling (well, more than the usual amount of jank for this game). Annoying, but technically playable. It's a tiny bit worse in practice mode however. Skidding and steering loss happen much more often and it seems to be more car-specific. The Cobalt SS completely forgets how to steer quite often, and the DB9's engine cuts in and out after not steering for a second. Your car can be yanked to the side very aggressively for seemingly no reason. I can see the front wheels "flickering" between steering and not steering at low speeds. Practice mode is unplayable. The game has a number of bugs but these ones do not happen on an actual DS. I can list the ones I know of that do occur on hardware if needed. |
