Question About Local Multiplayer Using Parsec and Input Control Conflicts.
My friend and I have been trying to play some DS games together. We don't live in the same country, let alone locally, and so we use Parsec to play emulators together. I hosted MelonDS and we tried to start up New Super Mario Bros. While both of us COULD use our separate input configurations, mine (which used an X-box controller), overrode his (which used a keyboard). In short, when I moved Mario, Luigi moved, which is not conducive to actual play. Does anyone know how to completely decouple the input controls when using two instances of MelonDS on the same computer, but using Parsec to play remotely? When I tried to switch input controls so that we both used keyboard inputs (obviously with different key setups), then only the actively selected window of MelonDS would register anything. |
