Hello, I was wondering if maybe there's something wrong and/or buggy with time progression in the gen 4 pokemon games. In HG/SS, there's the owner of the Safari Zone that gives you two challenges. After you do the first challenge for him, he'll ask you to wait before he gives the next challenge. I've looked it up online and it's only supposed to take a day or so for him to give you the next one, but he hasn't yet after nearly a week. I tried time skipping with my computer's date and time and that hasn't worked either.
What I'm wondering is is there maybe something with melonds that's affecting it, or is it user error? |

He'll usually call you after three entire gameplay hours. |

if you have MAC randomisation enabled timed events like berry trees should actually not progress when you don't play the game. ____________________ Take me to your heart / never let me go! "clearly you need to mow more lawns and buy a better pc" - Hydr8gon |

So, is the time progression bug now just stuck permanently on? |

no, it's also not bug, it's just an anti cheat measure which is activated, because it thinks you're playing on a different DS everytime. For local wireless it's required that all emulated DSs have a different MAC address. This is what the setting was used for, though with 0.9.5 melonDS automatically alters the MAC address when you open further instances of melonDS for local wireless (so technically those new instances still trigger this behaviour). ____________________ Take me to your heart / never let me go! Hello, I'll have this issue to. I'm currently playing soulsilver on melonds on Android, and although Mac Randomization is disabled, the berries won't grow and the guy who builds pokeballs never gets finished.
So is there a way to fix this? |
