Hey, I'm mutagenicai, or mutagen. I've been attempting to set up some automated tasks in both DeSmuMe and in MelonDS, but using libraries that click/press keys don't seem to interact with either of them. I was curious about a couple of things.
A. Is there any intention of releasing an api in future? Or does one already exist and I've missed it? B. If the answer to A is "no", would there be any indication as to why the libraries I'm using (pynput/pyautogui) seem to have no effect at all? Thank you. |

hi , i dont have an answer for you , but i do have a question about these automated tasks , since the way you describe it makes it sound exactly what im looking for (potentially) . by automated tasks do you mean you can set up a script so when a certain thing in a game happens , it presses a button on its own ¿ or is it something simple like you press a button and it goes through a whole series of presses ¿ ____________________ petrol for breakfast |

The best option at the moment is the unofficial melonDS port for BizHawk, that should be usable for TASing/automation. |
