(I forgot to put it here, although you can see it in the title, this error occurs in KDE [linux obviously])

Every time I activated OpenGL mode I received the error:
qt.qpa.backingstore: composeAndFlush: makeCurrent() failed

After fiddling around for quite some time I discovered that by disabling the compositor the emulator was working again, after investigation a little more I finally discovered that the problem was the theme I used for the applications, Lightly, a quite famous one, to solve it just add to the melonDS run line this:

QT_STYLE_OVERRIDE=breeze

with it the application runs with the default KDE theme.

If you edit the .desktop it will be more comfortable for you.

Exec=QT_STYLE_OVERRIDE=breeze /bla/bla/melonDS %F


I share it here in case someone gets the same error and can find this thread and fix it quickly.
