Hello, I'm trying to unmap a button from my controller, because I don't want that mapping anymore as it's more annoying than anything now, however it won't work. I've seen people say backspace works, and it does for keyboard inputs, but not for controller inputs.
For information, this is what I'm using OS: Mac Build: Latest Mac64X Controller: Switch Pro Controller. |

not sure if its any help as im using the complete opposite os as you but i had to plug the controller in first , then open the hotkey menu , then i was able to click on a key and press backspace , for some reason it didnt work unless a controller was plugged in . hope this works for you too ____________________ petrol for breakfast |

This didn't work unfortunately, I'm not sure if there is another solution. Is there anyway I can change the input manually in the files?

Do you know where I can find this file, or if there's an alternative file for mac users? I can't find it. |

Admittedly, not too sure where this is or where to find it. I just installed melonDS and then put it in a folder within my Applications folder where all my roms are. |

Unfortunately I couldn't find it, even showing hidden files :/
It's honestly a really strange issue. |

the config should be in ~/Library/Preferences/melonDS/melonDS.ini ____________________

Unfortunately, I too can not find an melonDS.ini file. This seems to be an issue that lays with MacOS.
But selecting a key and then pressing backpace to unmap them did work for me. I'm sorry I'm unable to help. 😔 Edit, I posted this after I saw the other comments. Whoops. 😅 ========================== |
