Hello, I have problems with the inputs, there is a massive delay and if it comes in it keep scrolling through the menu.

I have tried to fix it by installing a copy, but it didn't work.

I hope someone has a way to solve it.

Are you using a wireless controller? This sounds like a spotty connection to me.

I play on my laptop with a keyboard.
When I use my laptop it works normally, but when I use an external screen it does the wired things.
When I pull the cable out and use my laptop screen, it just works.

this is an hdmi issue , this used to happen with me too until i switched cables

But it is only with melonds every other game works fine.

You say that if I change the HDMI cable, it wouldn't happen.

Chances are this is an issue with signal strength or interference with the HDMI cable\your display\something in that area.
Could you use https://gamepad-tester.com/ while connected to the display to check if your controller inputs are working fine?
