Hey, this might be me not knowing what I'm doing, like usual, but I can't seem to use my controller with melonDS.

I'm using an Xbox Series controller, connected via bluetooth and and says it sees it, like it's my only joystick option but it won't let me assign any inputs.
I double checked to make sure I was on joystick assign, but nothing, I can click the assign button and it'll wait for input but never receive any.
Not sure what else to add here since I don't really know what I'm doing.

Does it work in other apps that use SDL? Try mGBA for example?

Just tested it, no it does not, also really glad you said mGBA cause that's that only other emulator I have. lol

odd , im using the same controller and i can map and remap just fine , what build of melon are you using ¿

afaik it the newest stable build, I don't know enough to mess with the experimental stuff, been trying it since I posted and still no luck

~Edit: I'm pretty sure it's just something on my end, POS computer can't even reconnect to the controller now, gonna keep trying things, will update.

Hey guys, Im also having this same issue. Except in my case im using a Xbox360 controller and my controller is functioning with other emulators, for example I use mGBA and I am able to use my controller there.

Would really appreciate it if some one could help me with this.
