So I'm playing Pokemon Platinum, I have completed the game and obtained the National Pokedex, but for some odd reason I cannot Migrate from my Gen III games. I tried another emulator and it worked, but on MelonDS the migration option doesn't appear at all. Is it even possible to migrate? There is the option of a second slot on the emulator.

Yes, it is possible. But you need to have accessed the Pal Park first. And that only happen after you got the National Pokédex.

On MelonDS 0.9.4: File > Insert the ROM cart > Select your GBA ROM with the save file preferably in the same directory.
File > Open ROM > Select your Pokémon Gen4 ROM.
During the load game screen there should appear a new option: "Migrate from [Game name]"
And then you press yes, and select the Pokémon you want to transfer (up to 6 per day in Sinnoh).
Go to the Pal Park, and join the Catching Show.
Remember to disable the option "Randomize MAC Address" if you join the Catching Show, as it will mess with the system clock.
