1) First of all, you need to make sure the game is running, and that you are in game and not on the DS\i firmware. Also make sure that you are on the latest version of melonDS. 2) Next, you need to enable cheats by selecting this option: 3) Next, you need to setup cheat codes by going into this dialog box: 4) First, you need to select "New category". You can name the category whatever you want (i just named it "example category"). 5) Make sure the category is selected (if not, click it) and then click on "New AR code". Click the arrow that appears next to the category. 6) You should see something like this: 7) Double click the "(new AR code)" to rename it. I renamed it to "walk through walls" because that is the cheat I am using here. 8) Now, copy paste the cheat code into the box which says "(enter AR code here)": 9) Click OK on the cheat code editor dialog box, and enjoy! If you want to add another cheat, follow steps 5 - 9 of the above guide. If you want to disable all the cheats, simply uncheck this box: If you want to disable only a single cheat: 1) Click the arrow next to the category that the cheat is in: 2) Uncheck the check box next to the cheat you want to disable: If you want to entirely delete a cheat: 1) Click the arrow next to the category that the cheat is in: 2) Select the cheat you want to delete, and click "Delete": You might also need to shut down and restart your game for cheats to be disabled fully. Saving while using cheats is not recommended, and it may brick your save. If the cheat code does not work: 1) Make sure you followed the steps correctly. 2) Make sure you followed the additional steps from where you found the cheat code as well (some cheats for example require you to hold a button for them to work). 3) Make sure the cheat code is valid, and that you copied the whole code correctly.
